Lower body first on the tag, then upper. The same number twice is a solid car. Three dashes mean a colour ordered outside the chart, so the tag does not name it.

Codes 53 and 59 rest on one reference. The second source we checked 1974 against did not list them, and nothing contradicted them either.

1974 interior trim codes

The TR field, on the same tag. Three digits in 1974.

Trim numbers were reused across body styles, and carpet rode on a suffix the tag does not always carry. The build sheet settles those.

You found the colour. The car is the rest of it.

Buildbook keeps parts, receipts, photographs, hours and who did the work, as one Build Book that stays with the car. Free to keep, and it takes a minute to start.

Read the whole tag

Paint is one field of six. Paste the tag and the decoder reads the style, the body plant, the body number, the interior, the paint and the build date, or says plainly that it does not hold the table.
